References to “we”, “us” or “our” in this Privacy Policy are references to Satsymph, an artists’ collective; whose founding members are Ralph Hoyte, Phill Phelps, Marc Yeats.

This document describes how we use any personal information and the responsible use of your data.

Preservation of your privacy is important to us, as is responsible use of your data.

The document describes how we handle personal and sensitive user data you may give us permission to use and access, and our policy for restricting third party access of such. The document also describes our data retention and deletion policy, as well as our procedures for handling procedures for personal and sensitive user data you may disclose.

  1. Information about you
    1. You may give our apps permission to use your device location to trigger audio playback. Such data is always processed on the device locally. No location data is stored or transmitted.
    2. We only collect personal information about you when you make contact with us via our website, register in a personal capacity for one of our events, newsletters, etc.
    3. Personal information constitutes any information that identifies you as an individual, as opposed to an employee or representative of an organisation.

    1. Your personal information will only be used to reciprocate communication with you, in the case of events, for the purposes of sending you information about our activities, etc.
    2. We do not share personal or sensitive information with third parties.

    1. We will take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration (except when changes are notified and authorised by you) of information you give us.
    2. Communications will be sent via e-mail. For ease of use and compatibility, communications will not be sent in an encrypted form unless you require it and provide the certification to enable us to communicate with you in that way. E-mail unless encrypted is not a fully secure means of communication. Whilst we endeavour to keep our systems and communications protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot bear responsibility for all communications being virus-free.
